About Rena's Ballroom
Our Story
Bob DeRochemont had a goal in building Rena's Ballroom. He was adamant on honoring the love of his life, Rena. He wanted as many people as possible to know the kindest person who had ever lived. So, it was his wish to provide a beautiful space where people can come together and have a great time.
When faced with losing the love of his life, Bob considered traditional memorials like cemeteries and mausoleums but rejected them as insufficient. Instead, he established the ballroom as a living tribute. Rena was passionate about exercise, and her warm, welcoming spirit filled every environment she entered.
Rather than creating a static memorial, Bob ensured that her memory lives on in the joy and connection that Rena's Ballroom brings to the community.
